"Carrier" Information

A pouch laminating "carrier" is a silicone-coated (inside only) sheet (usually card stock similar to a file folder) which is open on 3 sides.  They are used with most pouch laminators which do not have silicone-coated rollers.  After stuffing your laminating pouch with your paper to be laminated,  the pouch is then placed in the carrier before sending the entire carrier/pouch assembly through the laminator.  The carrier prevents any excess glue squeeze-out from accumulating on your rollers.  Using carriers will extend the life of any pouch laminator, even if your machine does not require the use of a carrier.
